Cookie Policy

This page explains essential browser storage, optional advertising and analytics technologies, server logs, user controls, and the consent boundary for JUST FREE PDF. Public pages currently do not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or display advertising units.

Current cookie status

JUST FREE PDF may use essential browser storage to keep the editor interface stable, remember temporary document-session state, support upload and export workflows, and maintain normal site operation. This storage is functional rather than behavioral advertising by itself. Blocking all cookies or site data may prevent the editor from opening a PDF, keeping a session active, or completing an export.

Currently, JUST FREE PDF does not load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager scripts. Advertising-related verification metadata and ads.txt do not by themselves place display advertising cookies or ad units in the editor.

Advertising cookies after AdSense approval

If display advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, and their partners may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to serve, limit, personalize where permitted, and measure advertisements. Google advertising cookies may use prior visits to this site or other websites. Users can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.

JUST FREE PDF does not ask visitors to click ads to support the site. Invalid clicks can harm advertisers, users, and the site. If ads are enabled later, users should treat them as separate sponsored content and should use normal browser or Google controls to manage personalization where available.

Users in regions that require consent, including the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, should be given the required choices before non-essential advertising technologies are used. Before AdSense display ads are activated for those regions, JUST FREE PDF must use a Google-certified consent management platform where required. The built-in privacy-choice panel records first-party preferences and keeps optional categories disabled unless chosen, but it is not described as a Google-certified CMP.

Analytics cookies

No Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager script is currently loaded. If analytics is introduced, this Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy must be updated before deployment, and PDF contents must not be included in analytics events.

Browser site data and local storage

Browser site data may include temporary interface state, session identifiers, upload workflow state, or similar technical values. Clearing site data for justfreepdf.com can remove this local state. It does not necessarily remove server-side logs or temporary server files that may be created during server-assisted processing. Server logs are not cookies

Servers, hosting systems, and security systems may process technical request data such as IP address, user agent, URL, request time, file size, response status, and error information. Server logs are used for availability, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and security. They are separate from browser cookies and should not be used to store PDF contents.

How users can control cookies

Policy updates

If advertising scripts, analytics scripts, consent settings, retention behavior, or third-party processing changes, this Cookie Policy should be updated before the change is treated as production behavior. The changelog records visible privacy and review-hardening changes.
