This Privacy Policy explains how JUST FREE PDF approaches document handling, website data, cookies, advertising, and user privacy. JUST FREE PDF is designed around a local-first editing model where practical, but users should understand the real boundaries of browser-based tools.

Local-first document handling

For everyday viewing and editing, JUST FREE PDF is designed to let the browser read and render PDF files where practical. This can reduce unnecessary file transfer compared with upload-first tools. Local-first does not mean that every possible feature is offline or that no network request can ever occur. The website still loads code, styles, icons, and PDF libraries from its server.

PDF content and storage

JUST FREE PDF does not intentionally use user PDF content for advertising. The editor is designed for local-first workflows, but some functions, export services, OCR services, error handling, security defenses, or future optional features may require server requests. If a feature requires server processing, we aim to explain that boundary in the product or related documentation.

We do not ask users to create accounts for ordinary editing. We do not sell user PDF content. We do not want users to email sensitive PDF originals for support. If a debugging file is needed, users should provide a minimal test file with private information removed.

Logs and technical data

Like most websites, servers and security systems may process technical information such as IP address, user agent, request time, URLs requested, error messages, and performance data. This information helps keep the service available, diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, and understand whether pages load correctly. Logs are not intended to be a document storage system.

File names and browser data

Your local browser and operating system may remember recent files, download locations, or cached resources. Downloaded PDFs may sync to iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or another service depending on your settings. JUST FREE PDF does not control your device's download folder, browser extensions, cloud backup settings, or email attachments after you share a file.

Cookies and similar technologies

JUST FREE PDF may use essential browser storage for site functionality, preferences, or editor state. If analytics is added in the future, it will be explained in this policy and the Cookie Policy. If Google AdSense advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, subject to Google's policies and user controls.

Third-party services

The site may rely on browser PDF libraries, hosting infrastructure, content delivery systems, security tools, and future advertising or analytics services. Third-party services may receive technical request data necessary to deliver pages, protect the site, or provide the requested function. We try to avoid unnecessary third-party scripts during AdSense review and do not currently place display ad units before approval.

Sensitive documents

Use extra caution with contracts, medical records, tax documents, bank statements, identity documents, employment records, school records, client reports, and legally significant files. Keep an original copy. Review exports in a second PDF reader. Use official portals or professional tools when the recipient requires certified signing, true redaction, advanced OCR, or legal compliance.

Your choices

• You can close the browser tab and delete downloaded files you no longer need.
• You can clear browser storage and cache from your browser settings.
• You can disable or remove browser extensions that may access pages.
• You can control cookies in your browser and through Google advertising controls where available.

Children's privacy

JUST FREE PDF is intended for general document productivity, not for collecting information from children. If a school or parent uses the site for a form, the responsible adult should decide whether the document is appropriate for a browser-based workflow.

Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy as features, advertising choices, analytics choices, or data handling practices change. The updated date on the page shows when the policy was last revised.
